FAQ

How you expect your plumbing to work

Often we take our plumbing for granted and expect it to work each time. Open the faucet and there is nice warm water. Close the valve and there is no drip drip drip. Flush the toilet and away it goes, never to be seen again. That is the way it should be.

Water is the number one enemy of homes and buildings

When the phone rings at Paul's Anytime, far too often things are not as they should be. A water heater has leaked all over the floor, a drain in the basement has backed up the sewer, or a massive leak under the kitchen sink went unnoticed. Many things can go wrong with a home’s plumbing system. Water from a plumbing problem (especially if it is pooling) can be very costly.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

We encourage our clients to take notice of their plumbing:

  • Spend an extra minute looking things over next time you need something from under the sink.
  • A new gurgle or bubbling sound from a drain can indicate that a pipe is starting to clog or back up.
  • Most water heaters last 10 to 15 years. How old is yours? Check your water heater on a regular basis, not once in a blue moon, to help catch problems before they become costly plumbing repairs.
  • Drop in water pressure may mean a leak somewhere in the line.

Preventative Maintenance Plan

Many of our customers have our preventative maintenance plan. Once a year we come to your home and check for leaks, drips, and slow drains along with other potential problem areas. We also inspect pipes, water heaters, and everything dealing with your water needs including septic tanks and leach fields. Once we evaluate the performance of your home’s plumbing system, we can make maintenance recommendations that can save you from more costly breakdowns or complete failures down the road.
